Greg Huron, D.C

Greg Huron, D.C. is the newest addition to the Laser Rehab Institute team.  He  has been practicing hands on healing for over 20 years in Pennsylvania;  his patients have come to call him “the body engineer”. His goal is to allow the body to function as it is intended to by restoring  posture and fluidity of movement. Dr. Huron is a former collegiate football and basketball player (and current weekend warrior) who is passionate about not only helping athletes recover from injuries, but also by facilitating a path to attain their full performance potential. He worked closely with Pennsylvanian high school football state champs, Wilson High School and statewide record setting quarterback, Tyler Smith, as well as advising Philadelphia Eagles/Kansas City Chiefs head strength coach, Barry Rubin.

He graduated with a Bachelor in Science in biology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in 1989 and then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1992. He was one of the first in the country to become a registered Trigenics practitioner.  He is certified in Kennedy Spinal Decompression Technique and is a certified Rock Tape doctor.  He is proficient in Class IV  Laser Therapy,  Orthopedic Shockwave Therapy, and neuromuscular re-education. He has also studied faulty movement patterns with Craig Liebenson, D.C. and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) with Petra Valouchova, P.T. from the Czech Republic.

His primary focus is to identify the cause of dysfunction, activate and facilitate the Central Nervous System (CNS), and increase the functional capacity of a patient. This generates rapid and lasting changes and allows the patient to take an active role in maintaining health.

Dr. Huron is the father of 4 children and has recently relocated to Santa Barbara, California with his wife Ruth Huron (a seasoned yoga instructor)  to partner with Dr. Khalili and bring a fresh and innovative healing approach to the local Santa Barbara community.
